Rum Artesanal Barbados Rum Rockley Style BBR
Top review from Jakob:
"Head-to-head with the Silver Seal and for me a nose ahead - although this can turn out the other way around at the next comparison. Here, too, smoke, honey, fresh fruitiness, plus green notes - the all-round pampering program for aficionados, which makes every tasting a star hour of rum. Always a pleasure!"
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum HD HGML
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Sampling this one right now and I have to admit that it's one of the most well balanced rums I have ever tried when it comes to ABV integration.Very fruity and lovely funk from nose to finish. There is a slight roasting note on the finish that I like a lot.Wonderful rum that is virtually impossible to get.Put my nose in the glass today and the smoke is very strong today :-)"
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum (HD Distillery) C<>H
Top review from DomM:
"Little 1990 C<>H cross-tasting with 2x RA, RC Ed. 5, TWJ and TRC. Honestly, quite hard for me to chose a winner out of the TRC, first RA and first RC… The first RA also is an outstanding bottling of the 1990 vintage. Side-by-side the RA comes with a little twist towards more herbal notes and little less fruity notes. Also very good staff."
Rum Artesanal Jamaica High Ester Rum HGML
Top review from Thunderbird:
"RumX Day10: What a treat! This Hampden is once again absolutely top! It has a balanced maturity and is not as impetuous as many others, without denying its origin! All the expected flavors are represented, just a little more mature and subtle! Great Tasting evening with Dr. Django: Can only confirm my assessment of danals, first class bottling"
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum REV
Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"Komplex und kräftig in der Nase und am Gaumen. Dörrpflaume, Kräuter, Gewürze und kräftige Fassaromen wechseln sich ab. Der Alkohol ist wunderbar eingebunden. Hat uns richtig Spaß gemacht. Toller Rum der richtig Spaß macht!"
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum EMB
Top review from Jakob:
"Simply great aromatics: the long aging adds a lot of complexity without becoming too bitter or otherwise overpowering the flavor profile. Fruit esters and wood embedded in a lovely sweetness...theoretically conceivable that you might not like this - but would make no sense. For me, this is great cinema. In direct comparison with the Tara and the Rum Club again a little more unfiltered fruit and menthol. The bottling remains an absolute top representative from Clarendon."
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum VSG
Top review from cigares :
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum PM
Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:
"Excellent rum! All elements are in perfect balance, none overpowering the other. On the nose the caramel throws off thinking you will find a sweet flavor, instead the rum comes out slightly bitter and dry. Later in the mouth, toasty, woody, spicy and grape notes are noticeable. The caramel gone, perhaps cocoa or chocolate. The finish is medium long with the persistence of the grape and after that more tobacco, but still all very soft.A rum that given the distillery and aging I would have expected something more!"
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Once rested this is really nice and hits really well on both the nose and palate. An intense yet really well balanced rum and the nose was was really nice in the empty glass. Even the day after the glass gave some wonderful notes."
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum
Top review from DomM:
"Very nice bottling out of the New Yarmouth 2009 range with high intensity on the nose and palate. Classic cookie dough notes with sweetness and some fruits. For me actually even a bit better than the RA single cask bottling."
Rum Artesanal Guadeloupe SFGB
Top review from Jakob:
"Already in the nose waits a very own green note, reminiscent of tart herbs and unripe vegetables. On the palate more balanced, tea, wood, fennel, spices - thereby overall extremely dry and thus rather on the tart side. Even if the Bellevue DNA remains recognizable, it is a rather unusual representative of the 98 batch with a clear impact on the herbaceous-green side."
Rum Artesanal Unshared Cask for Germany
Top review from DomM:
"Nice nose with notes from the cask, dried fruits and some glue. Very enjoyable. Complex and elegant on the palate. Presenting dried fruits and lots of spices (cinnamon) in an excellent balance. Influence from the cognac cask is noticeable. Alcohol is very well integrated."
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum VSG
Top review from Oliver:
"Still quite young and wild. However, with some time in the glass, an exciting VSG emerges. Plummy, dark, licorice and some citrus. On the palate, however, it is still a touch too wild for a top rating."
Rum Artesanal Australian Rum
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"What a board! This is probably the most quaffable and at the same time the oldest Australian I have drunk so far... Incredibly intense after peach iced tea, apricot compote and mirabelle jam with vanilla, peach brandy in a wooden barrel (like the gölles I have), surprisingly little wood notes, some floral honey, jasmine tea, croissant with bitter orange jam and just extremely delicious and a surprisingly long finish. The alcohol content is also extremely well integrated.... In short: I'm just blown away by this Australian!😍 I really would not have expected!🐨 Am glad that I got me 2 bottles!"
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum PM
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"At the price tag this is a great rum, maybe I got it at a very special price bit it is very good indeed. The nose is fruity with lots of spices and there is something floral to it as well. The palate is balanced and complex with lots of fruit and spices matchibt the nose. Slight sweetness and burnt sugar later on. The finish is long and dry with wood and spice. "
Rum Artesanal Belize Rum MBT
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"After resting for 15-20 minutes this one will settle a lot and reveal a nicely integrated ABV. Fruity with nice light roasted wood and a touch of caramel. Has a nice warm and woody finish with some chocolate. The empty glass reveals even stronger notes. Price to quality is pretty good."
Rum Artesanal Barbados Rum (Rockley Style)
Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"The Cave Guildive is more complex and powerful in comparison. The RA seems somewhat watered down by the 47.1%. The finish is extremely long and beautiful. Reminds me of a Fiji rum. The typical honey note is there, but not quite as present."
Rum Artesanal Trinidad Rum
Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:
"Very interesting and complex. Medium-long finish, but not very punchy. I have to be honest, I cannot distinguish this marked black cherry aroma, in fact I found it well balanced. On the finish lychee/cherry. I sensed fleeting notes of marzipan / pastry. If I drink without thinking too much about the bouquet then I perceive its complexity and taste it really well. A very interesting rum that needs attention."
Rum Artesanal Australia Rum Inner Circle MAIC10
Top review from Rodolphe:
"Vieux sample qui traîne depuis fort longtemps dans l'étagère. J'aime beaucoup le coté floral des Beenleigh donc comparaison avec le Beenleigh 2013. C'est moins floral, plus métallique. Cela reste assez fruité mais essentiellement sur les agrumes. Bonne bouteille mais qui ne me marquera pas non plus. Le 2013 est nettement plus dans mes goûts."
Rum Artesanal
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"The nose is fruity and smoky with vanilla and a hint of tobacco. The palate is intense, spicy and has smoky wood with fruits and tobacco. I think whisky lovers will take a liking to this one because the flavours are pretty close to whisky. The fi isj is long and has smoky wood, tobacco and dried fruit to it. Price to quality is very good."
Rum Artesanal Burke‘s Single Blended Rum
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"absolut gigantische PLV und geniale Aromatik nach Jamaika Funk und Savanna Frucht. mega komplex. macht sich übrigens fantastisch im improved Chartreuse swizzle💥 unbedingt auch im Missionarys downfall testen!"
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum WP
Top review from Jakob:
"Absolutely extraordinary smell and taste worlds open up - in the nose planty-grassy aromas and green fruit and vegetable notes come to the fore, where I have immediate associations with green gooseberries, fruit bushes and grass, as well as subtle fresh herbs. Reminds me of pulling through the bushes on a spring day in the garden - I do not know so at all from rum. Next to it I have to think of unripe citrus fruits. On the palate, the impressions continue, though some typical Worthy Park notes come through here - dark pepper, some banana, caramel, smoke and wood. A very special profile that you have to like. Gets a little exotic bonus, but this certainly won't be my next Daily Sipper."
Rum Artesanal Burke‘s Seamaster Blended Rum
Top review from Oliver:
"Harmonious blend from Barbados (main component) and Jamaica. Typical Foursquare associations on the nose with a few tropical fruits. On the palate, the Jamaican component comes out a little more. A great blend for relaxed enjoyment. However, the real strength lies in high-quality drinks."
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum EMB
Top review from DomM:
"Well… obviously I seem to like it a lot more than most people… 🤔😅 Here is my „trick“: pour a glas -> forget about it -> skype with a friend for c. 2h -> remember the Rum -> alcohol feels reasonably integrated 🤷🏻♂️😅 Intense woodnotes in combination with herbs somewhat remind me of (much older) KFMs - again I actually like this one."
Rum Artesanal Rum of Jamaica
Top review from Timo Groeger:
"Ein guter Rum, mir gefallen die Artesanals. In der Nase hat man tropische Früchte, Ester und einen leichten Klebstoffgeruch. Im Gaumen kommt dann ein alkoholischen Geschmack dazu und wie ich meine auch eine leichte Kaffeenote. Alkohol gut eingebunden. Top."
