Top review from Tschusikowsky:
"Sweet and tropical nose. Mango, popcorn, vanilla, iodine and spices. Then much more mature in the mouth. Smoky, mint, overripe, tropical fruit, vanilla, menthol and rubber. Nice long finish. Pleasing, crisp and fine. I like the 2003 vintage much better than the 2001s."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Yesterday we had a nice relaxing evening and despite the bad weatherboutside, we had great weather inside. Very nice Bielle from Excellence Rhum. The nose is fruity with nice spices from the start and then grass, chocolate and rubber. There is a very faint floral note in there as well. The palate is complex and very well balanced. The ABV is masterfully integrated and you barely feel it. Fruit and spices hit first the wood, honey and chocolate and very light rubber. The finish is medium long and woody with pineapple and grass as well as a hint of rubber."

"Great Rum, well balanced, complex, great integration of the barrel and ABV. It has the classic St. James profile with all the beloved notes and tastes. I love the fresh, minty, chamomile notes at the very end of the finish. Conclusion of my tasting: 2006<<<2005<2001 (Roberto style 😜🙋🏼♂️)"

Top review from Benoit Mahe:
"Un rhum extrêmement gourmand, pâtissier et vanillé. La puissance est maîtrisée et l'alcool bien intégré. C'est très plaisant. Les epices et la puissance contrebalancent la gourmandise, permettant d'éviter l'écœurement. Très belle cohérence entre le nez et la bouche. Honnêtement, c'est une bonne surprise."

"19.12.2020 Nice tasting shortly before Christmas in a private area of the bar. Unfortunately this very old bar closed down in 2023. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Fresh, wood, light roasted, nutmeg, orange, dried fruit. Palate Oily, wood, vegetal, spice, light orange, fresh. Finish Medium to long, wood, balanced, warm, citrus."

Top review from TheRhumhoe:

"79 points. Classic Foursquare flavours in both nose and on the palate. Vanilla, coconut, caramel, a little wood, some chocolate. Some citrus fruit In the nose as well. Another medium level Foursquare, a distillery that just doesn’t hit my sweet spot most of the time."

Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"A beautiful bottling by Excellence Rhum. This rum from the Espérance distillery (which produces Longueteau and Karukera) is a fine experiment that was first aged in cognac casks before moving on to new oak. This reverse aging gives a very interesting profile, with a nose of toasted wood and spices, but which is also very suave. Tobacco, dried fruits (grapes), walnuts, caramel and chocolate create a beautiful olfactory harmony. On the palate, the first impression is of an extremely smooth, syrupy rum with a sweetness of caramel, nougat and honey. It's only afterwards that the cognac cask adds a little liveliness, with a dry side of fruit (raisins), spices and roasted wood. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is very long, sticking to the palate with this sweet, syrupy side before reasserting itself on spices and roasted wood. The touch of cognac lingers and is very pleasant. A very nice rum for its age, price and accessibility."

Top review from Stefan Persson:
"Tasted this single cask Bielle Agricole at the Sweden (Stockholm) Rumfest 2024 during an masterclass held by Excellence Rhum. It’s distilled in 2012 and aged in Marie-Galante for 10 years in an ex-Sherry cask before bottled by Excellence Rhum at its natural proof at 54,8% in just 280 bottles. The nose is elegant, spicy, oily and fruity with aroma notes of cigar and cherry. At the palate it’s smooth, delicious and elegant with flavors of fruits, plum and some menthol. The finish is long and delicious with notes of fruits and spices."

"75 points. Resembles a Clairin in the nose. 2nd tasting, same note. Alcohol is very well integrated. I still like the nose a lot, on the palate this rhum is too floral and (please don’t stone me) way too agricole for me. There are some agricoles that I appreciate a lot but this one isn’t one of them."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a tasting set from 2022 where we had a lot of fun around the table. This release is a bit out of balance because the ABV is a bit too dominant even when rested. Light fruits and a nice smoky note in the profile. The floral touch to the profile is also really nice. Better ABV integration would have pushed this rum even higher."
