"Edit: tried it again today as a blender. I like it a little better there. Corrected upwards A nice Foursquare, just the way I like it. But it doesn't stand out from other Foursquare bottlings I've had in the glass so far."

"No big surprise with the Fiji, the markers are there! On the nose we recognize very well the profile of this distillery: green tea - waxy and very vegetal for the blow. It is rather complex and intense with peppery, pineapple and a touch of varnish! In the mouth, it's warm, intense... wow... but creamy and tasty! It's earthy, woody and on exotic fruits. The finish is long and dry on peppery/vanilla. It lingers in the mouth for a long time, it's impressive! Everything is there in this rum, a beautiful nose, a nice attack in mouth and a long, very long spicy finish. My favorite of the evening. As for the Guyana, no hesitation I order a bottle right away! I'm going to follow this bottler, because 2 bottles tasted ..."

"Cuba und Fassstärke… sehr selten im Handel… Die Nase gefällt mir recht gut, etwas Frucht, etwas Karamell, Malz und Schokolade. Am Gaumen dann klassisch Cuba.. nussig, röstig, Fass, etwas dunkle Schokolade und eine recht dunkle (gebrannte) dominierende Süße. Der Abgang reduziert das ganze dann auf Fass und gebranntem Zucker. Der Alkohol ist topp eingebunden . Mir persönlich ist diese Abfüllung zu eindimensional"

"Tasted this at SDR23, so my review remains rather concise. It’s a La Favorite. On the nose a fickle balance of sour fruits and marzipan/frosting, dominated by a potent hay note and substructures of petrichor. On the palate more of the same, but with an almost overpowering layer of Playdough clay poured over the top. It’s unfortunately and unexpectedly extremely thin, as if cut up with tap water. Not the sensation I was hoping for, and it left me rather disappointed at this price point."
