"Edit: tried it again today as a blender. I like it a little better there. Corrected upwards A nice Foursquare, just the way I like it. But it doesn't stand out from other Foursquare bottlings I've had in the glass so far."

Top review from lukasdrinkinghabits:

"The 2009 TDLs are developing more and more into the little brother of the 2003 vintage. I wonder what influence the cask has on the heavier, minty aromas. They are much more pronounced here than in the Plantation OTL or the LMDR. The nose is in line with my favorite TDL profile: ripe peach, mango, mint and a nice mix of spice and chemical flavors. Really surprisingly ripe and beautiful for a 2009. The mouth continues similarly, with the typical black tea, citrus and some tobacco. I have now tasted it against the Caksus CDI 2003 and it would probably be hard to tell the difference blind. The fruit is clearer and brighter in the CDI 2003, the aromas in the Dram Mor are less defined and the finish lacks the intense, very long mint. So far the best 2009 I've tasted. I'm pleased that the heavy TDLs are not limited to the 2001-2003 vintages. Update: tasted again against the TWJ 2009. The rums are the same. Extremely similar, the 5% more alcohol does not affect the TWJ, the TWJ is a shade darker with more brown caramel. Update: Three times TDL 2009, all three released within a year. I've had Dram Mor and TWJ together in the glass before and could hardly tell them apart. The three rums are also extremely similar in the rest of the tasting. The Dram Mor brings a little more acidity in the mouth, the FRC is the biggest fruit bomb with an intense mango note, the TWJ is very similar to the FRC, a little wilder in the mouth. In the end, the same score for all 3. A super batch, very tasty!"

"Aromas of sweet chocolate, vanilla, banana and tan caramel. On the palate, the sweet profile holds up, again dominated by chocolate, nicely integrated alcohol and signs of a bourbon barrel. Price performance super."

Top review from Thunderbird:

"This Fidji is initially impetuous on the nose (esters, chemistry) but settles down after a while and fruits, tea and sweet almonds appear. On the palate, a heavy sweetness at first, followed by a vegetal and spicy side. Some tart tropical fruit is also present and the alcohol is not perfectly integrated. Dark chocolate with roasted almonds and tea are noticeable on the finish. A good Fidji."

Top review from Dr.Django:

"The key data made me very curious. Cubans are becoming more and more popular, it seems. Unfortunately, I haven't had a really good one yet. This ron is dominated by the PX cask. Otherwise, there is a dull interplay of aromas of dark chocolate, tobacco and burnt sugar. The alcohol could be better integrated. I continue my search for THE Cuban. Thanks @BananaJoe for the sample."

Top review from Rare Akuma:

"Tasted this at SDR23, so my review remains rather concise. It’s a La Favorite. On the nose a fickle balance of sour fruits and marzipan/frosting, dominated by a potent hay note and substructures of petrichor. On the palate more of the same, but with an almost overpowering layer of Playdough clay poured over the top. It’s unfortunately and unexpectedly extremely thin, as if cut up with tap water. Not the sensation I was hoping for, and it left me rather disappointed at this price point."
