"This one was a nice surprise, at least for me. A more heavy one than the others and also much better in all regards. The nose is typical Caroni, intense with all the tar, rubber and polish with a tad of menthol. In the back i find banana and cinnamon. The palate can really deliver on the nose. Again tar and rubber are there mixed with menthol. Fruitier than the nose with herbal and grassy notes. Nice and warm with pepper. The finish is forever with citrus, menthol enveloped by smoky wood. "Oh Boy, this is a nice one. Much power on the palate providing a evolving experience playing with lots of mint, fruits, spices and wood. On the edge of being to alcoholic and/or woody at some point of the journey but beautifully coming back with dried fruits and mint in the next moment. Very reminiscent of tropical aged MM imo."

"Deze heb ik eerst een tijdje laten rusten vooraleer ik me er aan waagde, gezien het hoge alcoholpercentage. Herkenbaar Barbados-profiel en sterk, maar toch is de alcohol niet overheersend. Qua smaak helemaal mijn ding, deed me denken aan gezouten karamel met tropisch fruit. Heerlijke smaak die lang blijft nazinderen."

"A very pretty Bielle from 2009, which gives a lovely impression on the nose. There's a lovely fruity component with exotic fruit, citrus, peach and apricot. Floral notes are ravishingly fresh, with violet, chamomile and aromatic herbs tending towards black tea. Spicy, woody notes are also present. A fragrant, round and very pleasant profile. The attack on the palate is multi-faceted: sometimes fruity, sometimes spicy, sometimes floral, the aromatic palette is broad and well spread out over the length. The alcohol is well integrated, but the 49.4% still has a modicum of vivacity. However, the finish falls short of expectations, thin, volatile and sparse, without being overly expressive. Slightly bitter on grass, espresso and cocoa. There's succinct oak and light spice on the finish. The menthol and tea notes on the finish are fresh and pleasant. If the finish seems disappointing, the flavors on the nose and palate are more striking, and there's more impact, vivacity and complexity in this profile than in the rounder, greedier Bielle 2011."

"And again a great Agricole! In the nose a lot of solvent, banana, almond and floral. In the mouth then really strong, creamy, dried fruit, coconut, tobacco and then a long finish.A young Neisson Foursquare blend.😉 A rum to enjoy."

"A multi-faceted bottling... At first, this Savanna needs some time to develop its green aromas. But even then they are not very intense. At first I had more of a vegetal side to the nose (olive). But then that changed rapidly... a heavy sweetness with accompanying yellow fruits spread out gently and decisively... The palate is oily and soft... the alcohol is still barely noticeable. There are brief flashes of yellow fruit, but these are quickly replaced by spices (salty licorice, allspice). The finish is still dominated by the spices and becomes slightly bitter. I like it and, in my opinion, it tends towards a GrandArome Edit: I tasted the rest again today and I have to say I really like it. It's round and simply delicious 😋, so I rate it a tenth higher"

"This is a tasting set from 2022 where we had a lot of fun around the table. I don't get Asta Morris that often and maybe I should try to sample more because they do perform pretty well. Fruity with nice wood and a nice caramel note on the palate. Nice dark colour and draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up a light chocolate note."

"For me, this rum is a real disappointment. Have the feeling to have a different rum in the glass than in the other reviews - but they are partly bottled from my bottle 🤷♂️. Have now tried for the fourth time to perceive more, but I can not find anything. The nose is sweet and one-dimensional, light fruit, light tobacco, nothing else. The mouth shows great density, but aromatically it unfortunately brings little more than the nose, but the alcohol stings in the finish. This is sounds like a real tear-down, but it's not that bad, it's just upscale mediocrity in the Spanish style. Too bad absolutely no dirty TDL 😪"

"Wow, totally unexpected. Has real power and flavor! Nice sweetness, chocolaty, spicy and just delicious! Please more of it, then I still become a fan of the Spanish style. 🤓Crazy how good a Botucal can taste. 😜"

"In comparison, it received the better rating against the RX12786. This is much more pleasing. Tasted at the Franconian Tasting Gang goes Tiki. Thanks to Jarek who opened both bottles especially for the tasting."

"This rum needs to rest for 15+ minutes in order to reduce the ABV burn and also to release all the flavours. Lots os funk, yum, fruity and nutty with a hint of chocolate and spices. I love the spicy finish."

"Un blend plutôt sympa. La Jamaïque est présente en trame de fond avec des esters bien présents. La Barbade amène le côté gourmand et facile. J'ai moins senti la présence du Guyana. Pour 34€ (en Belgique) c'est un blend avec un rapport qualité-prix plutôt très intéressant pour faire découvrir à des néophytes. Édit : même constat après une seconde dégustation"
